From the land of the Bluenose..was a sad day yesterday as Buggie Bouy turned in his buggie cart keys and became Elwood the Escort and Special Constable Dewgood!

Taking the very odd day off I dropped Marie off at work after a pre dawn visit to Tim's and motored to Windsor and hooked up with Makinholes who was on pins and needles as his new Garrett was a coming. First stop was an old farm house that is scheduled to be torn down in the next few days. Here Makinholes did just that and made two holes which netted him 5 silver coins all from the 1940's (3 quarters and 2 dimes) while this bouy was busy digging relics like a door knob, fitting find and a few buckles. We left here at lunch time and did the dew at Rotten Ronnies and then hit a field.

We started zig zagging along when Myles got a beep and pulled out a 1922 large cent that was followed by a beaut of a 1758 British copper. I manged a 1812 "Genuine British Copper" token and a ton of junk. At one point I bent over and fell prone on my backside to which Makinholes asked if I was dead to which I retorted that I was working on it. Give me a breeak there was a brisk nor'weter blowing!

From there it was off to the last leg of our days dig with Myles stopping at the post office along the way....his green machine had a rrived and he immediately set to work putting it together.

At the park I manged a 43 and 61 dime to add to our silver total. Of course Makinholes was having a blast and a learning curve with the mighty green.

Shown here is Myle's pile!

Off course numb nuts here lost his knife and ole hawk eye Makinholes spotted it right away. Got balls me son....golf balls! My take.
