Making the Switch from XLT to Etrac

I am finally making the move. I just placed my order yesterday with Rich at Colonial and it will arrive tomorrow. It strikes me as stupid to buy a new detector when the ground will be frozen rock solid in a week or so. But, hey. The Etrac called out my name and I had to answer!

Congratulations on your new Etrac. While the ground is frozen download the Etrac simulator. That way you can be more accustomed to your machine.

there is a lot of good books to read on those bad days.......

I did the same thing a couple weeks back. Went from an XLT to an E-trac also. Went to a park I've hit numerous times and the same location I've gone over numerous times with the XLT, and with the E-trac I was able to pull one silver in one time out with it (1930 Merc). I'm still in the learning phase also, but I've been studying posts on the forum and the internet, so come time to start hunting again I should be ready. Congrats on the new detector!!
