I have a Cibola i bought new, it always seemed a little to short. can you add a nother section of shalf to add about 3 or4 inches more to the lenght to it' i think the cable will work ok.

making longer

See if this link helps; I added a piece to move the arm rest higher. Could use the same tubing sizes to make a longer lower shaft too; but may need to play with the clamps.

PS The tubing is rather expensive at the local hardware store. I normally buy metal here :metal to make things I used the 6061-T6 aluminum tube.
