Major bling (at least I hope so :) )

Hadn't been beach hunting in the longest time. Finally got it going around 2 weeks ago. Had Thur / Fri off so I was able to hit low tide on the south AND north shore. Picked up a 14K ring last night with (hopefully) 60 diamonds... sure looks like the real deal but who knows; I'll get it tested this afternoon. The pics don't do it justice. My wife wants it sized for her finger either way :) There's also some pics of a couple of rings I've found in the last 2 weeks or so. The two silvers were dug in the dirt...

Let's face it, after a while plain gold bands become a little run of the mill, so it is nice to see finds that are out of the ordinary. I can't tell whether the last silver ring is Don Quixote or St. George. Are there any clues on the side of the ring??

Great bit of hunting,

BDA:cool:

I think it's Don Quixoti (although I didn't think of St George)... nothing on either side of the ring that gives a clue.

Thanks!

The musuem it's housed in is located in Oklahoma City, about 2 hours from where I live.

I'm not surprised to see the design in sterling. It seems a lot of Native Americans like Sterling.

A friend of mine from church works there... Well, it's 14K and the diamonds, all 60 of them, are real; a total of 1.2 carats. Some of the diamonds have inclusions but a guestimate on the $ is at least $1,000. I'll probably have a better number when my wife takes it in to have sized. :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy:
