Main and alt disc settings for the Tejon...

How do you set your main and your alt disc on your Tejon? Do you set it different when you are hunting for coins than if you are hunting for relics?

I'm thinking that a good setting for coins would be to barely accept nickels on the main disc and then SCAP on the alt. So that if you get a light hit that may be a nickel you can slightly turn the main down and if the tone nulls, then it's probably a nickel, then turn it back so that you hear a tone. Then check the alt disc to see if you still get a tone... then it might be a dime or a quarter... or a pulltab.

Is this a good idea?

How do you set your controls??

Thanks,

Julien
