maiden voyage with F75 ltd2 was a success with EMI blocker

Managed to get out for a short hunt in a civil war spot I call the bullet patch. The first f75 ltd I had a year or so ago was unusable with any sensitivity here. It is near a railroad track and must have an underground power line. The other challenge is people hunting it for 40 years. I've hit it probably 20 times over the last several years with a V3i and my CTX 3030. Most stuff is 12-14" so it's getting tight to find much. So now for the good news, on one side near the tracks I could max sensitivity at 99 and got one bullet about 12" that was almost pointed down. Also got a few more along with a percussion cap and melted lead but what really impressed me was the number of targets I got in a trashy area that I have gone over with a fine tooth comb. One bullet was an inch or two deep, one was 8-9" and even though some were foil and pull tabs they were still conductive targets. This side did give me some EMI so turned it down to 80. I'll post a photo of my finds later but wanted to give a report on my first 1 1/2 hour hunt to a pounded place with bad EMI. Overall I‘m happy with my results and my back and neck were even happier not toting that 5 pound 3030. Stay tuned for a photo and more hunts

I say, stay tuned for lots more success stories from the new F75. Fisher has fired up a bunch of owners, gotten many back into the fold, and created a clamor on the internet. They didn't have to upgrade these old machines but boy am I glad they did. I will admit my has been sitting on those days that I feared EMI or didn't want to carry two detectors in case it wasn't usable. There probably were days it sat because I wasn't up to the mental challenge of picking the good out of the static. New day, new game, I can't wait to get out with mine. Thanks for sharing many of us aren't going to get out till next year.

Congrats! Im going out with mine today.. So far the new F75LTD is amazing! I sold my etrac due to weight and really enjoy the balance and weight of the fisher..... For me if i have to miss a target or two to enjoy the hunt more then great! However i dont feel i will miss anything...

Yes Jerry in the right dirt a 12 inch bullet is very achievable with the B.P. maxed out and staying stable..!!

Hope you many good finds with your New Rig!!!
