Maiden voyage of the Vaquero and Sharp Shooter combo.

This is a report on the maiden voyage of the Tesoro Vaquero with the NEL 9x5 Sharp Shooter coil. The hunt was at a salt water beach, in both dry and wet sand environments. This beach is known for having black sand patches as well as iron trash, hot rocks and deep round targets due to the board walk being trashed due to Hurricane Sandy. These targets include big steel washers, fence posts, etc.

This particular day, I was hunting most the dry sand. Let

Have you tried the standard coil in like conditions? Is so how does it compare?
