Mahan's Buccaneer Metal Detectors

Can anyone assist me in finding info on a Buccaneer metal detector by Bill Mahans out of Garland TX. I would like to restore and see if i can get it in working order for my nephew. I looks like it needs headphones. Very simple design. Any assistance would be appreciated.
