Magellan Road Mate 300

Could somenoe help me please.
I am looking at a Megellan Road Mate 300 to help me keep from getting lost on the road, and have a couple of questions that I can't find answers to on their site.
1. Can I put in a way point and then do a "Go to" function to go to that site?
2. They say you can only use a card, ie ScanDisk for instance, with a max of 1GB memory.
I know ScanDisk makes a 2GB card. Does anyone know it the 2GB card will work?

Thanks
Neil

1. If by entering waypoint you mean entering co-ordinates (not address) than, I don't think that you can do that with RoadMate but, You can select a point / place on the map and route to that.
2. Don't know. Calling Magellan support may be the best way to find out.
