Made the Township Supervisor a happy lady..

I decided to head out and find that property marker she has mentioned a week or two back. She thought the owners of the next lot were encrouching on township property...putting their picnic tables on township property and then posting "No Trespassing" signs..keeping people off township property.

I decided to go light. Didn't take the Minelab...that would have been overkill for this job. I took the ACE 250. When I got there I notched out everything except iron. Lots of nails lying around but those were near the surface. At the back of the lot, closest to the water, I got an iron signal at 6 inches down. I dug down and found this:

The property marker the Supervisor wanted found. I put a wire in the ground (leaving the marker uncovered) and used a "No Trespassing" sign that was on township property as an addition to the wire (it is the silver rectangle in the picture below):

The property to the left of the sign is Private property. The side to the right is Township property and as you can see...the private property owners have put their tables onto township property and posted it no trespassing.

I called the township offices and the secretary quickly put the Supervisor on the phone. When I told her I had found the marker she was...well very excited. I told her that the picnic tables were as she had expected on township property. I asked if she needed someone to come out to verify the property stake and she said she would be out later around lunch time.

I took pictures of course, took a GPS reading of the stake location (as best as GPS can be for accuracy and then went to the Township Office.

I was greeted by an excited Supervisor. I showed her the pictures on the camera I had taken and she verified from the pictures that that indeed was the stake they were looking for. The other pictures confirmed the picnic table situation. She was a very happy camper to say the least and when I gave her the GPS readings that was like frosting on the cake.

She said "I have your (business) card (which I gave her the last time I was there) and if anything comes up you can bet I will be calling you."

Then I went to the sand lot playground at the Township Office and detected it. Here is my finds there:

I sometimes think to myself "I wonder what special thing I will find today to know God is with me." In the bottom of the picture is a nail with red ribbon:

Galatians 2:20 (KJV) says: "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."

Galatians 2:20 (NIV) says: "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."

Thank you Father for the reminder that You are with me. Thank you Jesus.

My ACE 250 hasn't gotten much of a work out but I know it goes deep. One time out a friend using a GTAx 1250 got a 'hit' at 9 inches. My ACE 250 also found it. After digging the item up it was a single 00 (double aught) buckshot from some deer hunter's shotgun. A slightly smaller than ball bearing sized item at 9 inches...with the stock coil (the 1250 had the PROformance - larger coil).

Love the ACE 250.

I am happy to hear about your day and the helping hand you offered as well I am also happy to hear my ace might go as deep as its big brothers, thanx
