Tomorrow i'm going back to the old stinky beach. Since there is a lot of clay down there, i felt i needed a sifting island. Luke has one and it helps when there is too mutch muck to go thru. You just dump the load on the island and shake it a bit. That way you can't drop your load like the scoop can. Also it can help go faster as you can dump a load in and go for the next signal.
Now did i made enauph holes ? I'll see tomorrow, but at the worst, i'll bring my rechargeable drill and the 3/8 spade bit and make some more during the lunch break. All it need now is a little rope to tie it to my belt.

While i was testing my island, my son Guillaume tryed his birthday gift he got april 24th... he was really anxious to try it. It doesn,t go too fast, but hey it's a pool, you dont want too mutch speed anyway !

i've made this sifter with hole sizes from .187 (3/16) to .312 (5/16)
doesn't seem to make much differance on how fast sand, muck, marl drain. so i use the .187 (3/16) holes just to help trap the really small sinkers/ earrings etc. in combination with a vibra probe you can't beat it.
