Made my own white ballance card.

This was taken with only a 60 w regular bulb in my lamp. Hand held so it's may not be quite as clear as normal. Considering I think it came out quite well as far as white ballance is concerned... What do you think?

Get a D2X and you won't have white balance issues.

I'm buying a 2nd D2X Really a great digital camera.

:yo: I know the DX 2 rocks and I would buy one if I had your kind of money:nopity: . Since you will own two it's hard for you to use both at the same time I can use the older one with some of your great lens:please: :D

Just be aware that using a 60w incandecent bulb will not only make the scene warmer but will also deprive the photo of some realistic colors. i.e. some objects will look a bit funny because there isn't enough ultraviolet light reflected off their surfaces. Even the most carefully corrected photo may not be able to compensate for the fact that different surfaces may reflect light in different ways.

Did I confuse you yet?

What folks notice the most in photos are skin tones and white values.
