Went to the small beach Jerry and I cleaned out last year. He went in May and no jewelry was found. I guess the gas prices are keeping the swimmers away. This place is not to close to big town. I got about 1.90 in change and 5 were quarters. Did get a gold ring. I thought it was a class ring but when I got home and checked it out I found it to be a 10k U.S.Army ring. The inside of the band has Homoney and 10K and it's about a size 6 1/2. May go out again tomorrow. Good luck if you make it out.

the gas angle and places away from town. Nice golden find - sure makes one's day ! Good luck if you go out again, steve in so az

...Take it from me;water detecting opens up a whole new world...I only go in up to my face mask(I use a diving mask),and you would not believe the opportunities you open up-EVERY time I go in the H20;I usually attract a lot of fish-a couple of weeks ago I was detecting in Lake Huron;and I was being checked out by what looked like a LARGE small mouth bass-also;schools of minnows gather and chase your coil and group around my feet- Absolutely amazing....At Clear Lake State Park here in Michigan;where I was camping,I was visited by a couple of curious turtles in the water,also....

congrats on the find.

I want to see that one! Sounds neat!
