Got sprinkled on a few times and late in the afternoon it started getting pretty cold. The place we wanted to hunt was a school where I had talked to a fellow last fall who was looking for Civil War items in a yard across the street from the school. We had visions of bullets and buttons. The school now has a new fence around it with locked gates. We hit a few parks in the town but nothing old turned up.
Lot of water everywhere there is a low spot. I got 5 quarters, 11 dimes, 13 nickels, and 32 pennies. Also a nice looking junk ring with a small heart on it and a gold plated earring. Hope all who got out found some goodies.
