Mad mad mad at myself.

Do you guys ever have a week or a time when you just don't feel like picking up your metal detector? I've been working at the School for the Blind here in Louisville KY installing new boiler piping. It ran under what used to be an old playground and I had piles of dirt everywhere from where the trenches were dug. 6 feet wide by 4 feet deep. I keep hearing about people detecting dirt piles and just wasn't in the mood to do it. I don't know what's wrong with me but just couldn't make myself take my Exterra to work and spend a little time afterwords looking. May have been the chance of a life time. The ditches will be filled in completely on Monday (tomorrow). Most of the soil has been placed back where it was and won't be dug back up in my lifetime. Just wondering if I'm the only one who has days that just don't produce good MDing attitudes.
Just needed to vent about my lack of get up and go.

Good luck and good hunting

Get up at bird time early 4 am Monday morning and get down there before they fill in the trench and bring your metal detector with the smallest 6" coil and get out there and DO IT if you still can. It's not over until it's over.

I am mad, mad, mad at myself yesterday for buying a 3 liter(just under a gallon) bladder cask of a new type of red wine. I told the liquor store clerk that I do not like to buy new wines that I have never tried before because some of them I disliked but I took a chance anyway. Sure enough another wine I hate and I have wasted money. It is called Franzia called, the world's most popular wine, as they say. Dump it out I guess. But I do love good wine when it is good.

Im with David, you still have time. Go early in the morning. HH

Well, I have to be there to work tomorrow morning welding the pipe that will finish the job. Can't get in until the security opens for us to get in at 7:00 AM. When the tests are done letting me know that none of my welds have leaked, the machinery is already there to push the dirt back in where it used to be. I had a week to do what should have been done and I kind of let the deer season take priority but am really regretting not spending my time doing what should have been done. Deer season will always be back. I guess maybe I've been a little in the dumps lately or something as I haven't been enthused about much of anything. Just wondered if anyone else just doesn't feel up to the task sometimes.

Good luck and good huntin.
