Machine operation selections and depth...

Was curious how/if the more selectons you have made be they personal or operational does it have an effect on depth. I know some brand machines, seems the more filtering they do seems to have an affect on depth. Like anyone else, I want the depth, but more than that I like to look for something that helps with target masking, so I wanting to know how the additional filtering effects the machine as far as depth and maybe target masking to.

It's a legitimate question, Bowie; but tough to answer.

I've logged about 200 hours with my E-Trac and can't say that I've noticed any loss of depth with more filters activated. But it's only a guess.
