MA Beaches

Molinari

New member
Greetings everyone!

I recently purchased a Tesoro Cibola and, while I mostly am interested in searching fields and old house lots, I'd like to do some beach hunting as well.

My question, then, is: what are some of the best beaches in MA where I might find some old coins, etc., that have washed ashore? I've heard the following beaches are promising, but beyond this I have no leads:

Lynn Beach (Salem?)

Beaches of Gloucester

Cape Ann beaches

Are these good spots to start? Moreover, will I have better luck finding shipwreck items in the dry sand or just near the water's edge?

Best Regards,

NJM
