M6's first finds

I only detected a couple of hours before weak batteries sent me home. Are those cheap rechargeable batteries at Wal-mart any good for White's. They do an excellent job for my digital camera but when I tried them on my Ace 250 it went from 4 bars to 3 rather quickly I thought.

For the first time out you came up with a couple of pretty cool peices already Dang. My buddy got a set of rechargable AAs for his XL Pro and he loves them. I been using just regular ones in my M6 and they last atleast 40-50 hours for me. Those rechares should give you pretty of hunting time before you need to recharge them I would think.

Hey Dang.....
For my money, I buy the best alkaline batteries I can. I've read where folks still get good service when the Alkalines drop to 8 volts. I can't say yes or no on that. I change the batteries in my MXT as soon as they hit 9 volts and I get a solid 35 to 40 hours between changes. I've heard and read that rechargeables only get about 15 hours on a charge. Get the 24 pack and it's cheaper. It all comes down to personal preference. Good luck hunting and....nice finds.
