THE m6 souds like a good detctor, why dide't they put discriminste in it? and can you find relics with it to?

why didn't they use notch discrimination, that's a good question.

As for "relic hunting," YES, the Matrix M6 can do 'OK' for relic hunting, at least on par with the MXT and DFX and other mid-frequency models. Most "relic hunting" is done with detectors that would be considered "coin hunting" detectors, or at least those that are considered "multi-purpose" types. The secret to successful coin hunting or relic hunting is using the best coil for the task and environment, and keeping the discriminate level as low as you can tolerate. Other than that, it just calls for recovering all good sounding hitds as well as the 'iffy' sounding hits. The ones that you feel (gut feeling sometimes) are not bad targets.

thanks for writing,and the info on the the m6. why i asked that qestion on,discrimination is becouse i did not read about it in the avrtisment,in western and eastren treasure mag,thats where i seen it.
