M6

Getting ready to retire. Looked at a lot of different detectors. I like the M6 setup. I'm a tones guy and I'm ready to get a little more depth than my present entry level detectors. This is one sweet looking detector and I don't think I search areas where I need a $1000 detector. Anyone have one?

I have sold 3 and no complaints from any of them. great choice in light weight and a good selection of coils. good luck in your hunt.

Great coinshooter, especially with a smaller coil, mine is pretty consistent finding stuff 6-8" range. The VDI and tones are nice features and its a Whites!!!
Good luck

At least it isn't puke yellow and go bing bong bing bong :poke::lol:. Congrats on the retirement my friend :beers:. Steve.

Well, it's pretty much like the MXT without the adjustable threshold, relic setting, and prospecting setting. I have the MXT and have been well pleased with it. I'm sure the m6 will do just as well for jewelry/coins in the parks etc. I'm sure you'll like it.

I have a M6 and it's a great machine, lots of good finds with it, both jewelry and new/old coins. Had a MXT and let that go, kept the M6 as I'm a coin/jewelry type guy. As I can't seem to stop my addiction for buying machines I just picked up a Prizm 6T to try out (call me weird, but not really a step down at all as it turns out). I only have one hunt on it but it has the potential to replace the M6 for grab and go coin shooting, seems to hold it's own. Less coil selection but a 4x6" shooter is available. It is about 1 lb lighter and has a back lit display.....

Lots of choices but can't go wrong with Whites, you'd be happy with M6, tones are great/clear, VDI #'s are consistent and give good info. Steady VDI means dig, aluminum varies a bit. A sunray probe is a great addition and is superfast to use with the M6 but also adds a bit of weight to every swing.
