M6 to MXT

Just wondering what you guys think, I I currently have a M6 that I love, that I am thinking of passing on to the wife. I also think I would like the MXT, and I have a lead on a used one for a decent price. My concern is that the MXT does not have tone id and whether that will be a detremint to me coming from the M6. Any thoughts?

If you buy the new MXT pro it has the tone ID and back light and ground grab as well as all the other good MXT features , then you will have everything the M6 does plus more . I have both the M6 and the regular MXT and I prefer the tone ID so I use the M6 now most of the time sometimes I use my Ace 250 in the parks it has tone ID also .So what I am saying it is what ever you prefer and can live with but the MXT pro has both ways .

I agree with Harold, hold out for the pro. I have a M6 and would hate to not have the tones.

I had orginally decided on the M6 over the MXT because of the tone ID. That was three years ago. Fast forward to last week and I just upgrades to the MXT Pro. I love the tone ID and the versitility. I think this is just the start of a beautiful relationship.
