Ihave a new M6 but don't seem to be getting much depth from it, Help!!! The unit is a little noisy but not too bad to live with. It is very easy to set up but I don't understand the lack of depth. Oh, have been using the6x10 dd coil. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks, Ron B.

1.. Did you buy it new or used?

2.. If new, was it from a local dealer or other?

3.. Is the 6x10 DD coil new or used?

4.. Have you compared the performance between the stock 950 and the 6x10 DD?

5.. Where are you setting the Sensitivity?

6.. Where are you setting the Discrimination?

7.. Are you letting it AutoTrac

I thought the same thing till I found a 1917 half dollar at 7 to 8 inches. Also I found a old fashion pulltab at 9 inches. Have faith.

The 6X10 coil on the M6 is deeeep.
I pickup a dime at 8 or 9 inch.
Most of your coins will be less than 5 inch deep.
Give your self time to learn the M6/MXT
For coin hunting I like the 5.3 coil.
