M6 or 6T

I see the 6T has just come out, am thinking of purchasing the M6 or 6T.....What do you think? Am new and trying to make the right choice.....Thanks

If I were buying within the next few days/weeks, I'd go with the M6 because of the great variety of accessory coils available. That said, the rumor mill has it that a smaller coil or coils will be coming out for the 6T and if I were favoring that one, I might wait and see what shows up. SO - depends on how much of a hurry you're in. Also, coil selection depends to some extent on the type of hunting you will spend most of your time with. If you plan to hunt parks and other areas with heavy trash, a smaller coil is invaluable. My two bits.

The M6 is tried and proven. The only advantage I can see with the 6T is that it is a few ounces lighter. M6 has an excellent selection of coils whereas the 6T has really no options as of now. I know from experience that the M6 does well for both prospecting and relics. Jury will be out for awhile on the 6T. My two cents worth.
