M6 & nugget hunting

Nailbender

New member
I know the M6 isn't a prospecting machine but I'm heading out to Colorado in a couple of weeks and was wondering if I would be wasting my time looking for nuggets while I was out there. I have a 5.3 & a 6x8 sef coil and will probably spend a couple of days in the hills.

Take it with you. You'll always wish you would have. Good luck! HH, Nancy

Worth a try. My MXT will pick up some small gold samples I have in C&J mode with a bit less depth than prospecting mode.

it lacks the traditional All Metal search mode. I've used the M6 w/6

Thanks everybody, I'm definitely taking it with me and will do like Monte says, little disc & no tones, just hope we go to gold territory.
