M6 Ground balance

Yes you must Ground Balance the M6........... There is no GB Knobs/switch on the M6, but you need to do this procedure

Set all your knob setting to your liken or triangles and set the tracking to auto...... find a small hunting area that has no metal in it

And bring the coil down to the ground and pump the coil 6-8 times .......... Now start hunting ....you are now GB.

At this time you can put the tracking in lock if you wish ........most hunting conditions don't requirer this.

Good luck

I love my m6. Took it to the beach in ocean city and hunted both the dry and wet salt sand. No problems until the water went over the coil. Got a bit of falseing but nothing that I couldnt straighten out.

great detector. This unit lo9ves coins especially in the totlotts and camp grounds. Also loves the bottle tops, but you gotta dig them to find the jewlery. I would say this is deffenetly a keeper unit. I've ran. idxpro, classic. id,5. dfx, xlt. not bad. and the m6. one thing I can say that still disapoints me with all the whites units I have owned is the weight factor.

make the units lite like a tesoro and I'll stay a life time customer.

I think the M6 is one of the very best detectors Whites makes.

Less fuss! No Menus to scroll through!
It's a killer machine and I don't need a back up detector!

The M6 with a few coils is all I need.

Another hint...... for recently lost items like at your parks and Tot lots after you GB like above ... go ahead and put the M6 in the Lock position

doing this I find that the VDI numbers are way more solid and lock better (not jumping all over the place)

not all ground conditions will work with the lock GB, but you can try it on your ground, and see if it works.
