M6 Got me a Ring

tink

New member
Went out this morning for a couple hours with the new M6. Have hunted with it about 4 times now and it snagged me this really nice silver ring. IDed as a soild 50 cents and thought maybe I found my first half dollar. When this came out of the ground I was surprised. I still have a lot to learn about the lanuage of the M6 but i am starting to understand it little be little.

Also got this really nice 1978 Canadian nickel. I have always liked the beaver nickel and this one is a keeper for me. Anyone know if these were ever silver or what the material is to make them? I also got a handfull of clad which helps with the batteries. Starting to really enjoy this machine.

I like the M6 I bought one for my granddaughter to hunt with when we can get out together. I took it with me to try out a park near me and pulled out lots of clad. Good machine.

Nice ring you just found. On the nickle I don't know of any of them that had silver in them and if you check yours may stick to a magnet too as it may be a stainless steel or another ferrous metal. Some of the newer Canadian coins will not be picked up unless you run no disc. Check yours with a magnet as that is how I separate my Canadian coins in my cafe and bar till as I stick a magnet in the till drawer to pick out the Canadian coins as they will stick to it..
