M6 got here,, and sent back

Saw the UPS truck today and was my M6 from kellyco. I watched the video, set up the detector and went in my lawn to try it out. The speaker worked for about 5 minutes , then silence, although the headphones work. I think the speaker probably has a loose wire or something. I called kellyco and they said to send it back and they'd have to look at it, sigh, more waiting. Was hoping they could of just sent a new one once i sent them confirmation from UPS that I sent it back, oh well, lesson learned.

the eagle freebie headphones that kellyco sends. Initially I wasnt using any, just the speaker. I didnt test the headphones until I realized the speaker want putting out any sound.

Spoke with a very nice person and they are going to take care of this and restored my faith. hopefully I wll be hunting before too long.

I've read a number of rants about Kellyco, and a few praises. I wonder how many satisfied customers per rant? By the looks of the operation, they must sell a lot of detectors and accessories so there's bound to be a problem from time to time. Haven't ordered anything from them so can't comment personally.

Don't know that I would fault Kellyco. White's put the detector in the box and a White's is a White's is a White's.

Wow. Sorry to hear that. Usually all whites detectors a quality machines. Hope this isn't a sign
of crappy quality control.

My gripe with Kelly CO is they said the MD was postage free but when
they wrote up the order they added another $12.00 for all the goodies. They said the $12.00 was to
cover the postage for the extras!!!Bull $@#%. Then they asked me if I had been to the online
store and said that free shipping was only there. But When I looked last at both online and their general
store for the public both said free shipping. I called them and said I wasn't going to DO bisiness
with them period if they didn't drop the extra charges. I don't even WANT the junk they send.
Just send me the MD and the Head phones that come with it. DOn't send me the junk.

We'll see.

found out my new mxt from kellyco didn,t ship friday. now the,re gonna drop ship from oregon. be sometime next week+ this sat was my birthday guess my present will be late! kinda the pits! guess it,ll be worth the wait though. anybody else had this experience? sad in arkansas. phillip

Whats done is done and feeling bad about being taken for a ride isn't going to change anything.
I'm looking for another detector, one for my 41 year old boy. Won't be an Ace however. When I
decide on what one to get for him I'll give you a call. We'll consider the slate clean and start afresh!

sometimes it does not...but it always works with head phone...that is something I will have fixed myself before warranty runs out....good luck with your m6.
