Hi all, this past Wed. I went to a park with my White's M6 w/stock coil and about 4 inches down was this World War 1 Canadian Army Veterinary Corps Badge/pin. The description of this badge - It was established in 1910 as a unit of the Non-Permanent Active militia. Its' primary mission was to care for over 31,000 horses. Within 3 weeks of the outbreak of WW1, two sections of the corps were attending to the care of 9,000 horses in Canada at Valcartier. The unit was disbanded shortly after the war..
