M6 compared to the Cortes?

Go with the Whites machine, I'm all Whites. Their machines and service are the best. M6 is getting great reviews. Western and Eastern magazine has a write up on it this month.

The White's M6.

Both use 8-AA batteries but White's system is proven to not break or pop open, and I got better battery life with the M6.

The M6 has a superior TID display with much easier-to-read information compared with the tiny readout-of the Cort

I just bought a used M6, thanks Frank, and hopefully it will be arriving next week - just in time for warmer weather... can hardly wait to get out and swing it.

thx for the input guys!

I also just purchased a M6 . I've only used it once before the ground froze. I bought an extra coil with the M6 a 4x6 and so far its deadly on coins. I have three other metal detectors a Vaquero, Xterra 50 and a T2 and I like the M6 the best , It just feels right to me. The first and only time I used the M6 was at a ball field that I had hunted a week before with one of my other detectors, same exact spot. I found nothing but clad, but in an hour and a half I found 10 quarters, 6 dimes, 5 Penny's and one nickel. I'm going back next week as soon as the ground thaws. This is the first Whites I have ever owned and wish I had bought one sooner. HH
