M6 coils - a few questions ...

uxb

New member
White's currently offers 2 small Eclipse coils for the M6.

I live on the Gulf Coast hunt 75% white dry beach sand and 25% parks, playgrounds, etc with no mineraliation in the soil.

coil #1 = Shooter "DD" 4"x6" coil #2 = 5.3 Eclipse Search coil 6" x 6"

What are the characteristics of each coil and what one would best serve my needs

Are there any other coils made for the M6 beside those offered by White's?

thanx

I just put the 6"X10" DD on my M6, only been able to try it for a couple of hours so far. It really seems to run alot smoother and is a bit lighter than the 9.5" stock coil.

Hi uxb,

There is a 5" round coil and a 4-1/2" x 7" eliptical coil offered by Kellyco. I have read some good reports about both of them on various forum sites. I believe they are imported from Germany.

Good luck

I use the 4x6 DD Shooter in real trashy areas. With the right setting on my DFX it really homes in on the goodies.
