The M6 has an Auto-Trac Beach setting option. I'm curious whether toggling to this position will really allow one hunt on highly mineralized wet sand beaches. I've read some posts where folks claim that the M6 is a great beach machine, but it was not made clear whether they were referring to dry or wet sand hunting. I've read other posts where folks commented that the M6 wasn't a particularly good beach machine. I suspect that the answer all depends on whether one is hunting on the wet sand or on the dry sand and/or whether the beach in question is highly mineralized or not.
If there are any of you out there who've had expereince using the M6 on the beach - both wet and dry sand, I'd appreciate your feedback. I'm sure that White's added the Auto-Trac Beach setting for a reason. I'd just like to have a better idea of what additional capabilities using that setting really offers.
