M16 Pin Pointer ~ Charging Indication

I originally posted this in error within another thread. I wasn't sure where you started new threads/topics at the time. A little more looking around and I found the place to post a new thread/topic, so here it is again. I hope I haven't caused any confusion with all of this.

Now that it has been about five months since I have been out hunting, my user memory of the Deus and Pin Pointer is failing. I only managed to get in the field a couple of times with my new Deus and Pin Pointer so I am hardly a expert with the equipment. I can't even "Remember what I'm suppose to Remember", let alone the specifics of doing it.

Is it possible to tell when the M-16 is fully charged by observing the Light/LED ?

If I remember correctly, when I first plugged it in the Light/LED was blinking fairly rapidly. Now that it's been on charge for over 24 hours the light /LED stays on for about 3 to 4 seconds followed by being off for about the same amount of time.

Thanks for your patience.

You are doing it correctly...however it only needs about a 3-4 hour charge according to the instructions. The LED will flash 3 times rapidly during the initial charge.
The little instruction flyer that came with my MI-6 specifically says that... "End of charging LED 4 second on...4 second off. (cycle)".

Hope this helps you out.

And if you are using the Mi-6 with the Deus, the battery charge is indicated on the controller when the Mi-6 is in use. See the photo....

Thanks for the reply and info. I had a little spare time in between waking my camper up for the season and I did manage to find that on the M-16 micro-miniature instruction manual. I downloaded a PDF version and blew it up a bit so you don't need mag glasses to read it.

Thanks again !
