M-Scope

Hi, I was looking for a photo of an M-Scope. My dad was a mining engineer and had one when I was a kid. It had two dial boxes mounted on two long sticks, one box at each end. It was all red. He stood between the sticks and used them to carry it.

This was the late 40s or early 50s. He also had a gold mill. It was a huge metal thing with a lot of blades. I had to shine the blades by rubbing them with sand until they shone. Maybe you have a photo of that too. This site is interesting to me. We lived in New Mexico and treasure hunted there and in Arizona and Texas. Moved a lot. Glad to find your site.
