Was a diggin up goodies, and alla sudden m' p pointer starts a buzzin and vibratin, right off i think it's too cold for it(bout 25 degrees), but it won't shut up, try everthing, well , it's BROKE, get in house later, call Garrett, M' Pinpointer's BROKE, told nice lady my plight, she sez, just put in new battery, that's what it is tellin you, it ain't broke, SOOOO, I do that, DANG, she was right, sure made me feel like a dummy, =LORDY THEY FINE PEOPLE=That Garrett bunch

Usually when the battery is exhausted it'll go crazy and sound like a siren.
Have had that experience many times

Mine seems to do real well in the cold. Not like those cheep ones with the knobs.....they just don't work at all when it gets real cold. I guess you get what you pay for.
