'm new to this but not the hobby.

hello everyone i live in central Illinois and i was wondering when a meeting is happening because i really want to dive down deeper into this hobby and be social, but I'm home schooled and can't really meet anyone and i love this hobby! and i think going to this would not only help me to get deeper in the hobby and get social at the same time! i think it would be just so awesome! i only live a hour away from Peoria so it would be awesome if someone could tell me when one happens thanks! also i am 13, i have a famous trails MD9200 AKA 'the professional' metal detector, a 4 inch garden trowel, and a BAH pin pointer. i also have a towel that i use so i don't lose dirt so not much money put into the hobby but i really can't make any money because Illinois does not have jobs for pre-teens so yeah. anyways... I'm really excited that i found this and hope i can get to a meeting.


P.S if any admin responds to this could you give me a phone number that my parents can contact to get some info on meetings? thanks!
 
Hello! Welcome to the P. A. T. H. forums! The meetings are usually last Wednesday of month and there is a meeting tonight at 6:30 located at the North Branch Library in Peoria. Behind Menards. Hope it is not to late of notice for you. The club always welcomes guest. My son (:geek: and myself have been members for only 3 months now and everyone is great. There will most likely be snacks and often people bring there finds to display. Hope to see you there. HH!
 
HA COME ON DOWN we have a club meeting to night you are welcome to come and get all the info to get you going we have a awesome club every body is cool and very helpful you will not be sorry we have a lot of fun . HOT ROD

I believe the club always welcomes guest. The next meet is a week early this month. November 20, 6:30 Peoria north branch library. Hour you make it. :)
