I own a 900 & like it, even thou i only got about 2hours of swing time on it since new.

I might have bought a Nox600/800, but I don't like the 0-40 compressed vdi scale.

The new Nox700/900 use a expanded vdi scale of 0-99 like my Whites machines.

Just a few less bells and whistles than the 800 which I have, but probably just as good from what I have seen with my friend using one.
And I think they are lower in price than when they first came out..you could buy an extra coil and make it very versatile for not a lot of money.

I have had the 600 and the 800, I still have a 600 and I think it will find anything the 800 will, if you want to prospect though you will probably need the 800 from what I have heard, I don't prospect myself.

had the nox 800 and 600, basically the same use the 600 as back up to the MAnticore it's a great detector

Im with you on the compressed scale, Minelab figured they screwed up and thats when the 700 came out.

I don't mind the compressed scale but did they change the angle of the grip. It hurts my hand if you are doing an extended hunt. I always found the s rod more comfortable than a straight shaft.

I think they changed the angle of the handle on the Nox 700/900 series detectors.
