M-6 GOLD RINGS & PULL TABS

I JUST DID A TEST WHITH TWO GOLD RINGS AND A MODERN PULL TAB THE M-6 IS MAKING A DIFFRENCE BETWEEN THE TWO THE RINGS 14K SMALLER ONES MED SIZE I WOULD SAY ALLWAYS GAVE A 6-8 VDI AND A LOWER TON THAN THE POP TAB THE POP TAB ALWAYS CAME UP + 22 AND A DISERNIBLE HIGHER TONE THAN THE RINGS RINGS +6-8 VDI SO THATS WHY TODAY IN THE PARK I WAS DIGGING PULL TABS NOW I KNOW TO DIG ANY THING VDI 6-8ITS JUST GOING TO TAKE ME A BIT AND THE GOLD WILL BE ROLLING IN IM GETTING SO TIERD DIGGING PULL TABS AT LEST MY PARK WILL BE CLEANED FOR FASTER DETECTING

I know how painful digging pulltabs can be Gunnar! But my back tightens up so i try to work around them. One tip that may help you even though you are usng a different detector is if it is one troublesome pulltab it is probably bouncing around on the same vdi numbers....also with a broken sound. I like the solid repeatable signals and often pass on the wide ranging vdi bouncing numbers with broken sounds, good luck.

Gunnar, you may be able to discern a tone and/or TID # difference when doing air tests on selected gold rings vs selected tabs, but the reality in the ground will be another story. There are multiple varieties of wadded foil, tabs, etc... that can sound exactly like your gold rings. Also, there are some sized gold rings that might sound exactly like a tab.

You might be able to pass commonly recurring tab sizes, (ie.: "ring enhancement programs), but there is no full-proof way to tell the difference between aluminum and gold. If they ever made a machine that could do that, the inventor would be rich! I'd pay $10K to own that machine anyhow :)

well lets get to work on it maybe a gamma ray or some other beem shot into the ground can tel the diffrence think about it a beem will bounce off gold in a difrent way than alumineum
