M-6 and sens adjustment and proper search technique

I am still learning my m-6 but i have learned thear is 3 layers in the park the surface layer 0-1" and shalow coins 2"- 4" then deep coins to search the first layer put the m-6 disc at 1 if not a bit to the left and then lower the sens to 30 i find the signal comes thru nice and clear whith no chatter i was mistaken to think i needed to have it at 80 all that does is over load the signal so i was missing things at 30 sens the suface layer comes thru clear as a bell and gets 3"easy once the surface layer is cleaned up up the sens to 80 or 100 and that will get deep and clear sound as well after that take out your 9.5 or 12" coil and go real deep then all the cluter that may mask something below is out of the way and by all means the 5.3 coil is the first coil to use its ability to pinpoint is amazing go , go , go
