Lunar Eclipse settings ...

I tried to post a reply down below but it wouldnt let me .. must be a problem with the upgrade ...
Anyways I read some of the forums and this is what is what the pros recommend..
f/2 - 2 seconds - ISO 100
f/2.8 - 4 seconds - ISO 100
f/4 - 8 seconds - ISO 100
f/5.6 - 15 seconds - ISO 100
f/8 - 30 seconds - ISO 100
Some recommend quicker shutter speeds but majority of them suggest the settings above...
Some cameras have an auto mode for night or twilight settings that may work good for you too...
Use your exposure bracketing .. a tripod is a must with these longer exposures...
and take lots of shots with different settings, you should have plenty of time to play around.
I did a search on DPReview for eclipse and there is a lot of different threads.
Remember .. I am a beginner so I may be way off base here ... lol
Good luck.... Shaner

I put mine on auto just to see what it would do and it took forever to take the picture. Most of my earliest pictures had ghosts while the camera shook from me pressing the button... Need to learn how to use my remote. I did turn off the eyepiece and used the LCD. This is with an Olympus E-10 on the tripod with me still pushing the button... <IMG SRC="/forums/images/smile.gif" BORDER=0 ALT=":)"> Guvner..

I wish I had a better lens to get in closer but they turned out okay.
