Lucky Ace finds nice gold ring

Dancer

About 4 yrs ago heard a rumor of a nice ring being lost in an outfield. It had already been lost for a while [?] Well more than a couple of guys have hunted for it off and on threw the years. Iv'e been down there abt 7 times this yr. Picking everything out of there I hit. Thats coins, alum slaw, mower parts & whatever. I also dug a lot of pieces of alum wire out by the fence, they mostly come in around a nickle, sometimes near a penny. Finding all this stuff made me feel this field wasn't hunted to the max. Well yesterday sure enough I just happened to have my 250Ace with me and out near the fence I got another nickle hit. First thing I thought it was a gold pulltab. After rubbing off the sod there it was. A nice gold [mans] 10k ring, covered with small baggetts. Took it to have it valued, $70, for scrap, they said I should be able to get $200, maybe on the street. No one seems to know who lost it, but I'll hold on to it for a while anyway, maybe the word might get to the owner. Ive had my Pro and my 1500 looking for it also, the Ace just happened to hit it.

It would really be nice to know if you were using the standard coil (you said near a fence) and what mode you were in. Thanks.

I guess that the coil that passes over it

is the one that finds it!!!!

[size=large]sent my rings in to an outfit recommended on the feedback forum. it's ARAGOLD. they say they'll pay 98% of spot. also gives some warnings as to what to watch for on the crooked dealers.
