I headed out to a new spot and my first signal was a Merc. Second plug was a Rosie Wheat spill and I thought this place was going to be loaded with keepers! But after a couple of hours I only found a few more Wheats and some clad. I went from there to the spot I dug a dime trifecta at the other day. My first good signal sounded like a deep penny and turned out to be a worn Barber dime. I checked the hole and got a nickel signal, there was a crusty V nickel in the same hole. I finished up the hunt with a few more Wheats and another Rosie. It's very dry around here like it's the middle of summer, hoping to get some rain soon. HH David
