Luck was bound to change..golden "O" (Sunday)

From the land of the Bluenose.....long day at work plodding through purgatory and was looking forward to a quick solitary swish after my shift. Was not having a good day as my injured leg was throbbing and it took me a mere 42 tries to win at solitaire. 1730 hrs came and I was out the door like a blue butted fly, home changed and in a local lake within a half hour.

Felt rather lucky that the lake was on a quarter full as the day had been a scorcher. Life guards go off duty at about the same time as I left work which leaves the beach wide open to all sorts of "indiscretions" including bringing dogs into the swimming area. One lady in particular had her mangy mongrel on a leash and it was swimming for dear life with it's leash snagging a few frolicking kids that were having fun following the pooch!

I know that every time I go to the beach Green Peace wants to tow me out to sea but this lady had more "chins" than a Chinese phone book. A gentleman eventually spoke to her regarding the bylaw and the lady packed up her soaking wet canine and exited the park in a huff. Bouy beat me to the punch.

Lentered the water with my Seahunter and began swishing and felling like a sybarite. Ignoring the zillion kids with their zillion questions my luck changed as I netted a few coins and a spinning lure. Of course the fishing line got all tangled up in my coil and took a few moments to clear but that pales in comparison to someone who would have eventually stepped on it...ouch!

A fellow approached me indicating that he had lost a gold chain around the dock so I meandered over to that area and swished to no avail. My attempt at a good deed paid off for as I was returning to the shore I got a faint signal and out popped a nice gold ring. Unique one in that it had a logo on it that was similar to the Olypmic interlocking rings.

Hurried to shore giving Marie the "O" sign. Poor girl is down with a darn summer cold and wasn't feeling too chipper so I loaded the gear in the trunk and pointed Goquickski down the Bi Hi. Half way home there developed an offensive, oozing, odoriferous odor coming from the rear of the car.......ummmmmmmm those water shoes sure stink! Good day.

is what you got I believe. The ring sure looks neat, does it fit Marie ? Glad you got out and had success , keep that gold chain area in mind, ! Steve in so az
