LS.Pelso Headphones

Just got the LS Pelso headphones. Is it normal that when they are fully tightened into the machine there are still threads showing? They work fine.
Want to make sure before they have their first bath! Thanks
 
I have two sets, both have similar gap, a lil over an 1/8", one thread showing when bottomed. Previous two sets were the same too.
 
The M12 will seat on that O ring on the outside of the female jack...... so it just doesnt matter about that gap as long as firmly seated. Even if it does leak its a sealed jack no water can get to the inside the box. That O ring only keeps water and sand out which could cause corrosion.... or some crackle on the headphones.
