What is this unit?
Check out this test at http://www.rangertell.com/tales10.htm
what type of bull is this?

I was sent a Ranger-Tell Examiner by a disillusioned buyer, and posted some info on my web site. Click the link below, and then click on the "Ranger-Tell Examiner" report link. It's pretty typical LRL garbage.

I am firmly convinced that Carl <span style="background-color:#ffff00;">hates</span> LRLs since he can't use them.

Re http://www.rangertell.com/thunting.htm
Carl will open up every LRL he can get his skeptical paws on and find oofle dust but he cannot find that missing page in his physics textbook dealing with electromagnetic fields. Why doesn't he have any respect for the unpublicized concepts of others? It takes all kinds. Apparently the R-T Examiner is exactly what is said at www.rangertell.com and more. That is an early experiment , an XT-D (Experimentental Technology-D). Give us today's news Carl, not some worn excuse that someone has dropped...or copied. <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol"> or used as a cream holder!!

What a nice scam... The pure fellows who believe in that.... a 3 Dollar calculator who can find gold...

Hi guys...this con artist has been tracked down by his skeptic, quoting from Carl Moreland's excellent site which demonstrates this $2000 device is nothing more than a $5 calculator taped on to a plastic box with several cheap, random components amatuerishly soldered inside to prevent the box being empty should a foolhardy purchaser crack open the device.

photos of the "electronics" inside and analaysis of his laughable claims can be found here:

So who is "Ranger"? His real name is Vincent Blanes, and he lives at 505 Marshall Street in Lavington, NSW, Australia. When Mr. Blanes first registered his web site, he made the mistake of doing so in his own name. He later changed the registration when this gaffe was mentioned on the forums, and he vehemently denied that his name was Blanes. However, I have heard from several buyers who returned their Examiner for a refund and, very consistently, the name they were told to return it to has been Vincent A. Blanes. One person even got a Paypal refund from Vincent Blanes. Why Mr. Blanes feels a need to keep his identity a secret is rather puzzling, unless he is concerned with legal exposure.

ive attached 2 of the many photos from Carl's article, so you can see the technical sophistication involved in the device....i encourage you to read the full article at the URL above, and wonder how on earth a glorified coathanger can legally be sold on ebay with such outlandish claims attached.

If a person developed a LRL that actually worked as advertised, they'd be a fool to share it with anyone else. All they would have to do is go around the country or world digging up treasures beyond anyone's imagination. Just dig up one treasure to finance your trips to dig up other treasures. A person could make way more money digging up these treasures then they ever could selling the locators. Like they say "there's a sucker born every minute". I get a kick out of the folks that have more than one LRL. If it worked, why would you need another? Come on, I know those of you reading this that have an LRL probably have more than one. Why is it that when someone turns on an LRL it doesn't try to point at every married women's finger? Oh that's right, there's some crappy excuse why they don't.

Carl made a faux pas with that piece 11 years ago. If you go to the new rangertell dot com you will see that the maker all along was not Vincent Blanes. It's all in the clip there and About Us. :clapping:

Depends on what size the LRL will find re not going to gold everywhere e.g. a gold ring. Also sometimes the presence of another element, in this case a woman's finger, can change the frequency.

"sometimes the presence of another element, in this case a woman's finger, can change the frequency".
Oh, but the gold sitting in different soil like mineralized verses not so mineralized soil doesn't "change the Frequency"? Wouldn't gold also have a different "frequency" depending on its purity? Heck, gold doesn't even have a "frequency". The whole finger thing is just an example of one of those crappy excuses for an LRL not working.
