I just bought a 500C in spite of the reviews regarding the routing bug. I am a first time user, and hopefully by the time I learn to use it properly they will have a fix. I used it for the first time today, and really like it. The screen is very visible, and I was amazed how quickly it would re-route me when I deliberately got off course. I spent two months doing research before buying, and hope the routing bug doesn't bite me in a$$. Lowrance has yet to answer my email regarding the bug, and I have not used it long enough to see any routing problems "yet". I will post again after a couple of trips, and after I have learned enough to make a worthwhile post.
