lower rod for Xterra

The X-Terras come with the complete 3-piece rod assembly. One upper rod with the grip/detector mount, one curved middle rod and one lower rod. If you didn't get a lower rod with your X-Terra, call the dealer you bought it from and tell them.

On the other hand, if you are talking about not getting an additional lower rod for an accessory coil, you don't. They are not part of an "accessory coil" package and must be purchased separately. HH Randy

Check your email again. I sent the third one this morning. I'm sorry that you are unhappy with your package deal. The free Black Straight Rod which I sell for $84.95 doesn't come with a lower shaft. The free 6" DD coil which I now have to sell for $139.97 doesn't come with an extra lower shaft. Accessory coils do not come with lower shafts except for the 8" Minelab Explorer coil that I know of. Most people just unbolt the coil and switch it to their shaft.
Your X-Terra70 has all of the shafts that come with it. I want you to be happy. I told you we can trade that Straight Rod for a new lower shaft with all of the hardware or I'll sell you the lower shaft with all of the hardware for my minimum selling price and free shipping.
If you are still unhappy you can send the whole package deal back and I'll gladly refund your $698.97 and sell it used.

In bubber's initial post, he lead me to think he did not get any lower rod with his X-Terra. I was merely pointing out that the lower rod is part of Minelab's "standard" package and that he should have received one with his X-Terra. The later posts made by both he and Chuck at Indian Nations further explained the situation and the issue (or non-issue) seems to have been resolved. HH Randy
