lower back mounting the excal II

How do you guys mount the excal on your lower back at the belt line? I noticed this on the VB Max video oldbeechnut did.

Never seen the guy touch the knobs...Pinpoints in Discriminate Mode..... better then me using Pinpoint to PP !! ! Did not get a close look at his coil and rod but think the coil wire was on the inside of the Rod? May want to check with him on that..

i use the Excal hip mount tube so i can take battery on/off easy.

yes its the battery harness for the Minelab GPX detectors..i just bolt the Excal hip mount on the belt with nylon bolts and good to go! see pic
