Low battery performance of X-Terra 50

Treasure Nut

New member
Just curious! I have an X-Terra 50 and love it, only I can't get out as often as I like due to a disability to test this issue. So this thought just came up. How many continue to use their XT50 from 50% batttery power and letting them run 'til empty. Do you find you are not getting enough depth or are there other performance issues you encounter? How do you compare the performance from a new fresh set of batteries?

I never gave this any thought from my previous detecting experiences. I always let them run 'til empty, but I'm only limited to digging up-to 4" holes or as far as my screwdriver can pop out the target. :)

I have run my XT50 until the machine starts to warn me by giving off a tone once in a while, this will happen when the battery icon is blank, haven't noticed any difference in power but didn't pay it any mind, will next time but it will be awhile, the batts last a long time. John
