Loving Deep and Fast both off

thanks to Bart Davis and Evan Granger for that bit of Wisdom. spent a couple hours this morning in a lot I have pounded to death and pulled hundred of coins and still pulling coins, got two clad nickels, clad quarter and a sweet 1904 IH this morning in a short hunt. They both said with gain cranked up there is not much need for Deep on unless you are hunting deep fields, and Fast on degrades your Audio.

Yeah FastON eliminates some of the uProcessor's time consuming filtering which allows quicker sweep rates.
There is a time and place for it though.

I sure am not seeing any benefits of having it on. both places I hunted today was trashy and I have pounded them both before the second hunt of the day targets were everywhere as before I could not find any more

nice coins surf! I've also been thinking about trying both of em off? I have been running fast on- deep off since the beginning. I've yet to find a site that wasn't loaded with trash. Think I'll give the fast off a shot....sure couldn't hurt?

Bart and Evan both are very good with Etrac's and recommended it, making a believer out of me ... I always used to have one of them on and the other off but really liking both off

can you go into any detail as to what you've noticed different or why you prefer it with both off? Thanks......

Low trash shallow target areas like tot lots, new parks, detector contests, etc. where you want to cover more ground quicker.
I use FastOn normally in tot lots where it works well. Sometimes you just got to get in and out of those tot lots fast before the kids and their mothers arrive.

don't think I have any clean spots and don't do TL's
