Love token update

I came across a beautiful example of the pin attachment I believe my love token had on it at one time, the two dark spots and horizontal scribe line are the clues. . This is my photograph of the coin not some internet jobbie. My new friend had been given this heirloom from his grandparents collection and the reverse is the original Eagle not a love token. The patina on his piece was gorgeous. Funny how things come together !

Yep funny thing the $2.50 dollar gold coin I found in my avatar was mounted on a sterling money clip which had fallen off lucky it was still in the same hole!!! I had the bezel around it removed It looks nice now but who would do that to a gold coin! not me lol.
